February 17. 2004 Kathy will be attending an exclusive reception for Laura Bush in Orange County. They'll have a lot to discuss with their mutual interest in literacy. February 21, 2004 Kathy will be producing and Acting in another one of her very popular Eddie May Mystery Comedy Dinner Theater shows at Bertouccis in San Francisco. Everyone is surely in for the "Crime of their lives"! February 12. 2004 The Southern California Motion Picture Council honored Kathy with The Diamond Halo Award and The Jeanie Emerald Star Angel Award for her outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry. Thanks to Don Wilson and his wife for all their support. May 29-30, 2004 MADD Fundraiser Photos Kathy, along with Paul Petersen and Lisa Loring, appear at the Orange County Fairgrounds as Celebrity Ice Cream Dippers at the Ice Cream Parlour from 11:00 to 2:00 for MADD - Mothers Against Drunk Driving - come out and be refreshed for this extremely worthwhile event! May 22, 2004 Make-A-Wish Fundraiser Photo by Melissa Dodd (click on photo above for bigger picture) The Croquet Invitational and Charity Auction May 22, 2004 - Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards (Left to Right): The Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation was the beneficiary of the "Croquet Invitational" on Saturday, May 22nd. The annual event, held at the Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards in Windsor, California in the heart of wine country, raised over $480,000 for the nonprofit, now celebrating 20 years of making magical wishes come true for children with life-threatening illnesses. On hand for the festivities were Sonoma celebs Kathy Garver (Cissy on TV's "Family Affair"); Jon Provost (Timmy, from "Lassie") and his wife Laurie; Eric Johnston of LucasArts and Patricia Wilson, Executive Director for Make-A-Wish. Johnston, who worked with young leukemia patient Ben Duskin to create "Ben's Game", a computer game that battles cancer cells, is also no stranger to TV. As a child actor he portrayed Marc Singer's son in the classic Sci-Fi mini-series "V". Just launched over two weeks ago, "Ben’s Game" has already been viewed by more than 65,000 and downloaded for play by over 26,000 young people. Photos  November 19-20 2004 Kathy judges the The GREAT AMERICAN MODEL AND TALENT SEARCH on November 19 and 20 at the Sheraton Hotel, Los Angeles, California December 18, 2004 Kathy produced and participated in a "Dine with Celebrities" Christmas event on December 18 in Chicago for United Financial Services.  Celebrities included 7 cast members from "Seinfeld, Ruth Buzzi from Laugh In, Keith Thibedoux, Little Ricky on I Love Lucy and of course, Kathy!  A great time was had by all.

 

Announcements January 8, 2004 The National Enquirer article on the fire that destroyed Kathy's house is out on the new stands today, January 8, 2004. It is the January 20th issue with Chelsea Clinton on the cover. March 30, 2004 Kathy will be the guest of Rod McKuen and Chuck Ashman as Rod leads a forum on poetry art and music at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. Reception following at at 5:30pm, Discussion at 6:00pm March 3-14, 2004 Kathy attended the Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose one of the most prestigious and best film festivals. April 17, 2004 Kathy will be doing "Dinner with a Star" at the Movie Cinema Grill Saturday evening starting at 7:00 p.m. in Northern California July 1, 2004 The book Kathy Narrated "Calculated Risk" was the number one down loaded novel on audible.com last month (June). Kathy Garver and Jon Provost shooting a commercial for Edgewater Hotel and Casino in Laughlin Nevada October 2004 Kathy will be host for ACTION! Connisseur a new show debuting on the Fine Living channel outlining what is happening on the West coast. Kathy will be joining Catrine Mc Gregor to write the book "Voice Over Across America". This book will be sent to the printer in December and be available for purchase on the web and book stores and well as special events and signings early 2005. Kathy Garver has been attached to direct Snuggy Bear, a live action/animation TV series variety party for kids.
