Long-time friends and associates, Kathy Garver and Barry Barsamian, decided it would be great fun to create an entertaining television show about colorful people and the exciting events happening around them.

Choosing first from their vast array of colorful acquaintances, they put together Backstage with Barry and Kathy. Each week Barry and Kathy will escort their audience to happening people, places, and special events.
